The Challenge

A health and beauty manufacturer in Bowling Green, Kentucky wanted to increase detergent-processing capacity and add mixing centers. The plant was already using a smaller version of the pump and needed equipment specified for the expanded process.

The Engineering

Fischer Process Industries analyzed the process dynamics and developed specifications for the pumps, motors, and gearboxes. The engineering scope also included custom baseplate designs for fabrication and 3D dimensional drawings for approval.

The Delivery

Five large 6-inch Waukesha positive displacement ECP pumps were specified for the upgrade. Following functionality testing, the pumps were delivered with engineering and operations manuals. Coordination between the engineering team and shop supported the customer’s demanding project schedule.
